At Pletzer Resorts, we rely on 100% green electricity and modern energy technologies. Highly efficient iDM heat pumps harness natural environmental energy, while innovative systems for waste heat recovery and energy storage support resource-efficient operations. EV charging stations also contribute to more sustainable mobility.

Today, 72.2% of our total energy demand for electricity, heating and mobility comes from renewable sources. Through our own energy generation, we also cover 19% of our total consumption ourselves, achieving a high level of self-sufficiency. With CO₂ emissions of 3.77 kg per overnight stay, we make our environmental impact measurable and create a basis for further improvements.

At Pletzer Resorts, we place great importance on the careful and sustainable use of water. By implementing resource-saving measures and using regional drinking water sources, we aim to keep consumption as low as possible.

At the same time, we focus on reducing packaging materials and avoiding unnecessary transport routes. In this way, we combine the protection of natural water resources with considered solutions for everyday hotel operations.

At Pletzer Resorts, we focus on fresh, seasonal products and the responsible sourcing of our food. By working closely with regional producers and selected suppliers, we support local businesses, keep transport distances as short as possible and ensure careful preparation that respects the quality of the ingredients.

Our sustainable approach extends beyond the plate. Through needs-based planning, larger packaging units and reusable packaging solutions, we reduce unnecessary waste. Consistent waste separation and the further use of organic residues help us make sensible use of existing resources and support valuable cycles.
