Accessibility Statement

Pletzer is committed to making the website www.pletzer-resorts.com accessible in accordance with the applicable requirements of the Austrian Accessibility Act (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz – BaFG), Federal Law Gazette I No. 76/2023.

This accessibility statement applies to the website www.pletzer-resorts.com.

Status of compliance with requirements

This website is partially compliant with the requirements of the Accessibility Act (BaFG) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Conformance Level AA. We are constantly working to improve accessibility.

Implementation will take place within the transitional provisions of § 37 Para. 2 BaFG.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

1. Non-compliance with accessibility requirements

1.1. Perceivable

The following content is currently not fully accessible:

  • Alternative text for images: Some images do not currently have sufficiently meaningful alternative text. As a result, the content and purpose of these images may not be fully accessible to users of screen readers.

  • Downloadable documents: Some PDF documents provided on the website may not be fully accessible. This may particularly affect the document structure, reading order, headings and alternative text for graphical content.

1.2. Operable

The website must be fully and clearly operable, including without a mouse or when using assistive technologies. The following issues may restrict usability:

  • Link and button text: Some links and buttons use generic labels such as “Read more”, “Learn more” or “View”. When presented independently of the surrounding content, their purpose may not always be clearly identifiable.

  • Dynamic and interactive elements: Some forms, selection fields, sliders, galleries and other dynamic components may present limitations when operated exclusively by keyboard or with assistive technologies.

  • Third-party services: Certain website functions lead to external services and platforms. We have only limited influence over their technical implementation and accessibility.

1.3. Understandable

Content and functions must be easy to understand and predictable, regardless of cognitive limitations. The following aspects may restrict understandability:

  • Generic link labels: Some link texts are not clearly understandable without the associated content context.

  • Foreign-language terms: English-language terms and product or service names are occasionally used on German-language pages. These are not technically marked as language changes in every case.

  • Forms: In some forms, error messages and status changes may not always be fully perceivable to users of assistive technologies.

1.4. Robust

For some dynamic components and forms, full compatibility with different browsers, devices and assistive technologies cannot currently be guaranteed in all cases.

This particularly applies to:

  • dynamically generated forms and selection fields,

  • status and error messages,

  • sliders and galleries,

  • as well as components and content provided by external third parties.

We are continuously working to improve accessibility and resolve the limitations listed above.

2. Content outside the scope of the legislation

The following content in particular may be exempt from the statutory requirements:

  • file formats used by office applications, such as PDF documents, published before 28 June 2025,

  • pre-recorded time-based media published before 28 June 2025,

  • third-party content that is neither funded nor developed by the website operator and is not under its control,

  • content of websites or mobile applications that qualify as archives and have neither been updated nor revised after 28 June 2025.
